"This musical is amazing! The performances by the actors where jaw-dropping and the songs where the best I’ve ever heard come from a musical. In a musical there are typically 2-4 show-stopper musical numbers but in Death Note the musical, almost every other song is a show stopper. Every actor portrays the character with incredible depth and realness. This is without even mentioning the powerful voices they have. The singing was beautiful. The choreography was very creative and dynamic making every song stand out because of it. The musical was very well adapted from the original book series that so you could watch it without having any knowledge of the source material and still fall in love with it. The plot is a well-paced, easy to follow masterpiece that talks about powerful themes while still not being overly edgy or taking itself too seriously. There is something to love about every character as they are made so likeable. You are engaged in every moment of the musical from start to finish and when you leave the theatre, the experience will stay with you. All-in-all, I loved the musical. It had a strong story, great songs and wonderful performances. Its definitely due a deserved album for streaming. I would recommend this to all musical lovers."
